Calendar sync

Adults connect an Outlook.com or Microsoft 365 account and choose which calendars to sync and whether others see full details or only busy times; work calendars show only busy times by default. Events then appear on both sides within minutes. If the same event was changed in Orbit and in Outlook, Orbit marks it and shows both versions so you can pick the right one. You can also subscribe to iCal links such as school holidays; those events are read-only.

Connections live on the Settings page in the Apps & services group. For each calendar you will choose the space its events appear in, for example Work for the office calendar; you can show or hide imported events in the planner’s calendar settings. Until then, Connections lists the planned sources iCal subscription, Outlook.com and Microsoft 365, each marked Later. Connecting calendars is not available yet.

Available from milestone M4a (writing to Outlook: M4b).

Space owners can open Space settings and find Imported events below Modules. It is empty today; Open Connections in Settings takes you to the planned sources. Imported events will be read-only and marked imported.
